ACCESS SA was approved for a grant by CEI Africa for a key maker model project to set up a shea butter production facility and a honey production facility and three electric motorcycle connected to the Garalo green mini grid site, a 175 kW site with 266 connections in Southern Mali, in collaboration with AID SA (Agro-Industry Development SA). The project will provide first-time access to these services for all beneficiaries and is expected to reduce the time spent by women on household chores by 20%.
