Adili Solar Hubs is a locally owned Kenyan clean energy firm serving fishing communities along Lake Turkana. Founded in 2020, Adili provides solar-powered infrastructure—including ice machines, cold storage, water treatment, and clean cooking systems—to reduce post-harvest losses, improve health outcomes, and support local livelihoods.
The CEIA-supported project will deploy an integrated solar-powered ice and water treatment facility in Longech village, impacting approximately 5,700 people, 50% of whom are women. The systems will feature automatic water dispensers integrated with a smart platform and operated through RFID tags on a pay-as-you-use basis.
