Agsol designs and manufactures solar-powered grain mills for rural use. With headquarters in Kenya and manufacturing in China, Agsol will deploy 400 solar “MicroMills” that consume just 800W of energy, produce 50 kg/hr of flour, and are 2.5x more efficient than the competition.

The project aims to replace diesel mills in rural communities, especially benefiting women, who are expected to make up 60% of mill owners, and deliver more accessible, affordable and healthier food outcomes for 115,200 beneficiaries. Each mill is IoT-enabled for remote tracking.
